Jet Blue Changes, cancellations & Refund

No change or cancel fees starting 6/1/21 for most fares.
All fares booked through 5/31/21 will still enjoy no change or cancel fees. After that, changing plans will still be easy, with:

• No change or cancellation fees for Blue, Blue Plus and Mint fares on all routes (fare difference applies). Same-day confirmed switches can be made for $75, without paying a fare difference.
• No change or cancellation fees (fare difference applies), and free same-day confirmed switches, for Blue Extra fares.
• Blue Basic fares can be changed or cancelled for a $100 fee for travel within the U.S., Caribbean, Mexico or Central America, or $200 for all other routes. Same-day confirmed switches can be made for a $75 fee (no fee for Mosaic members), without paying a fare difference.

Keep in mind, there is a $25 nonrefundable fee per person for changing or canceling a reservation by contacting JetBlue Customer Support (in addition to any fees applicable to the fare). You can save this $25 per-person fee by self-serving online at jetblue.com

Cancellations within 24 hours​

If your travel was booked seven days or more prior to the scheduled departure date, you have 24 hours from the time the booking was made to cancel your reservation without being charged a cancellation fee. The entire booking must be cancelled to qualify (not applicable for JetBlue Vacations reservations).

Bookings that have been changed are not eligible for a refund to the original form of payment and may be subject to a per-person cancellation fee depending on the fare booked, regardless of being within 24 hours of the original booking.

• If a flight change request is made prior to scheduled departure and on the same calendar day, customers may take advantage of our same-day change options.
• If a JetBlue nonrefundable flight segment is not changed or cancelled prior to scheduled departure, all money associated with the segment is forfeited. This includes any extra or optional purchases such as Even More® Space, Even More® Speed, additional bag fees, etc.

• For JetBlue nonrefundable fares, changes or cancellations may be made prior to scheduled departure for a per-person change/cancel fee plus any applicable difference in airfare. Any remaining balance will be issued as a JetBlue travel credit and may be applied toward future travel on JetBlue. Credit expiration dates are available by accessing your Travel Bank account.
• For JetBlue refundable fares, changes and cancellations for a full refund are permitted prior to scheduled departure. Changes are subject to availability and any applicable difference in airfare.
• If a refundable flight segment is not changed or cancelled prior to scheduled departure, all money associated with the segment will be issued as a JetBlue travel credit and may be applied toward future travel on JetBlue. Credit expiration dates are available by accessing your Travel Bank account.
• JetBlue customers may make a confirmed same-day switch for a flat fee of $75 (no fare difference applies). A same-day switch can only be made on the day of travel, beginning at midnight in the time zone of your departing flight.
• Same-day switch is available for all fare options.
• You may adjust your travel to an earlier or later flight on the same day as your originally scheduled flight.
• You must travel between the same city pairs or, where applicable, in or out of nearby airports (see Different airport options).
• A same-day switch can be made beginning at midnight in the time zone of your departing flight and is only available on the same calendar day as your originally scheduled flight.
• Mosaic customers do not pay a same-day switch fee and can switch a flight beginning 24 hours prior to the originally scheduled flight time.
• Customers with refundable fares do not pay a same-day switch fee.
